Configuration and Coding for the Context Service
Step 1 - Create and Configure your key pair
In order to authentically pass context data from your Chat Bot (with the Bot as an enabler) when escalating a chat in Live Assist, you need to generate a certified key pair. The Private key needs to be available to your Bot code and the public key needs to be configured within your Live Assist administration portal, as described in the first portion of Bot Escalation SDK Context Service .
Step 2 - Write a function within your Bot to build and sign the context data as a JWT
Step 3 - Behind the scenes, Live Assist makes a POST request to send the context data to the Context Service whin initiating a chat using the Escalation API
i) In the .NET sample, the private key is embedded within the code on line 37
ii) Step 3 is contained within the code to request a chat.
iii) See Bot Escalation SDK Context Service to help you determine your Context Service URL.
